Customers are added to my customs list once they have paid their deposit for their items. Please note that your name will appear on the list in the order you purchased your custom slot; however, I do sometimes jump to the next item on the list if I am waiting for something from you. Your order on the list does not necessarily mean that your item will be the next one finished!

I love making custom orders!  If you choose to use a yarn that I have on hand, the waiting time for a soaker is generally 1-2 weeks from the time you get to the top of the list.  Longies take closer to 2-3 weeks.  I keep people on my list until they have received their knitted item, so please contact me once the goodies have been received.

When choosing your yarn and colorway, please keep in mind that I am not responsible for any pooling that occurs while knitting (large areas of one color in the yarn).  Some people like it, some don't.  Please let me know if you don't want pooling.   I will do my best to avoid pooling on your items, but it may not always be possible.

When I am ready to start working on your item, I will ask you for these measurements, taken over your child's diaper :

• waist
• rise (please tell me rise over the top of the diaper, to where you'd like the item's waistband to stop and end on your baby's belly, and remember that the Curly Purly waistband is meant to be high rise and may rise higher than your measurement)
• hips (across the fluffiest butt point)
• thighs
• inseam (longies and shorts only)
• cuff preference
• waistband choice (longies only- Curly Purly or traditional)

Please let me know if the item will be used exclusively for nighttime, if you would like a drawstring, or anything else you think might be pertinent.  I will be happy to provide help with measurements if you need it.

I will then knit the item to your specifications.  Please be aware that the item's at-rest measurements might not exactly match the numbers you provided me.  This does NOT mean the item will not fit.  Remember that knits are made to stretch!  Please be aware that I am not responsible for measurement errors on your part.  If you have viewed the final item and approved of it, your items are not returnable and cannot be exchanged unless I have made some sort of error.

Full payment is due before knitting can begin.  I will not start your item until full payment has been received.

I want my customers to be happy!  Once the item is received, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me and we will work on a solution.  Please remember that I literally spend hours on each of these items.  Lots of love, care, and time goes into every piece I knit, and each piece is truly one of a kind.  Be proud of your kiddo's new piece of art!
